Senior Java Developer

The candidate will join an international program aiming at deploying a Policy Administration system worldwide, in all the Business Units of the Group.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Developer, the candidate is involved, within the team, in the development of bug fixes for production issues, new features and/or configuration for the documents
• Following Agile methodology (Kanban), the candidate is involved on a day-to-day basis in the analysis, coding/building and delivery of the Back-End and Front-End of the application within his/her scope
• The candidate provides technical support to the other members/developers of the service team
• The scope is mainly back-end

Job requirements:

• Strong skills in development of REST APIs in a micro-serviced environment.
• Strong expertise in Java / Spring
• Strong expertise in SQL (stored procedures would be a plus)
• Experience in Angular would be a plus
• Experience in designing micro-services and using resilient anti fragile patterns.
• Experience in using Kinesis or Kafka as a message consumer is a plus.
• Experience of Public Cloud environments, AWS would be a plus.
• Experience of CI CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
• Permanently pursuing excellence in the quality of the code delivered
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• English (written and oral) mandatory
