Financial Risk Specialist

We are seeking for a motivated Financial Risk Specialist to join our dynamic risk management team. The candidate will participate in identifying, analysing and managing all financial risks of the bank and will assist in improvement and revision of risk management processes. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in risk analysis and contribute to the bank’s overall risk management strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of market risk exposures across various asset classes;
- Support the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and policies;
- Conduct quantitative analysis to assess financial risks and prepare reports for senior management;
- Provide risk opinions on significant transactions and on implementation of new products/ processes;
- Participate in stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the resilience of the institution under adverse market conditions;
- Elaboration of models for risk profile quantification. Monitoring, reporting and control of the risk profile against the approved risk appetite;
- Monitoring of market trends, regulatory changes related to financial risks.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field;
- Work experience in one of the following areas: credit/financial risk management, financial/credit analysis, audit, data management/reporting is an advantage;
- Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in financial markets and risk management;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
- Knowledge or Romanian and English languages;
- Abilities of using MS applications.
