Telco Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Telco Cloud Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will design, implement and optimize cloud-based solutions tailored for the telecommunications sector. Your expertise will help us leverage the power of cloud computing to enhance network performance, scalability, and reliability, ultimately enabling us to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

what you will be doing:

deploy and operate cloud-native solutions that support our telecommunications infrastructure and applications
monitor and optimize the performance of cloud applications and services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
work closely with cross-functional teams, including CNF vendors, network and systems engineers, to integrate cloud solutions
ensure that all cloud solutions comply with industry standards and security protocols, protecting sensitive data and maintaining regulatory compliance
provide technical guidance and support for cloud-based telco services, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions as needed
stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends, recommending improvements and new tools to enhance our cloud strategy

what we are looking for:

bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telco or a related field
decent knowledge and experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
solid understanding of networking and security principles and telecom protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, SIP, etc.)
good understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization and containerization technologies (KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus
general knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE networks is a plus
excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
