Senior software qa test engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer position requires a dynamic experienced individual who will lead the strategy through execution of the Quality Assurance (QA) processes for all enterprise business platforms.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Testing cloud service platform from front-end web applications to back-end data processing
● Creating test plans based on product requirements, specifications, and on the fly discussions.
● Working closely with domain experts to create the required acceptance criteria
● Working with customer service and IT to address escalation issues, bugs, and support requests.
● Managing, deploying, maintaining QA environments in IaaS and PaaS
● Automating QA testing to improve speed and coverage
● Testing complex web applications


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent education
2. 4+ years experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking tool, automation tools.
3. Experience with Git for source control
4. Experience with Unit Testing or Behaviour Driven Development tools.
5. Experience with leading NoSQL solutions like mongoDB is a big plus
6. Experience with testing of distributed systems or microservices
7. Familiarity with build tools and continuous integration
8. Familiarity with RESTful web services
9. Familiarity with performance testing tools
