Ruby Developer (Fully Remote)

The start-up specialises in building, maintaining and running bespoke software for their customers, making it faster, more accessible and less expensive for everyone to bring their ideas to life.


Core responsibilities

Build back-end and front-end components for web applications using Rails Engines
Test applications for performance, responsiveness and security
Review and debug other developers code
Create automated CI and test scripts
Improve and maintain applications after deployment


Required skills

Strong experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Ability to build a SPA
Familiar with one or more cloud provider’s services. Experience with containerised applications and infrastructure provisioning would be a plus.
Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic scrum teams.
Experience architecting and designing scalable solutions
Passionate about loosely held values and ideas. We want someone who has experience but is not blinded by the path already taken.
