Senior PHP (Laravel) developer

The company was founded in 2017. With over 50 people in staff, across our locations, we deliver crafter, tailored solutions in nearshore and offshore software development services to our customers worldwide. We account to some of the biggest regional names in our customer portfolio along with F500 companies, on our proud customer list. Our main areas of development are gambling and iGaming, banking, insurance and fintech, statistics, and big data analysis.


Right now we are looking for Senior PHP (Laravel) Developer, who will join our team in the Chisinau office.

In this project, we are developing a core-banking system for a new generation bank that implements a hybrid platform for a 21st century bank: combining all the principles of traditional everyday banking with a cryptocurrency exchange and a cryptocurrency bank.

In fact: we are implementing a full-fledged bank (the client has a full banking license in one of the EU countries) and a banking platform that allows, in addition to traditional payment instruments and assets, to use cryptocurrency funds. The system includes such conventional things for banking as issuing and operations with payment cards, payment terminals, deposits, lending and leasing, trading and asset management: all at the junction of the world of traditional means of payment and cryptocurrencies, where cryptocurrency considered as one from means of payment on a par with traditional currency and other "hard" means of payment.

We are building a platform for a new generation bank. This project designed for many years: work on the project started a year ago, and today the project team consists of 6 people (developers) and the project roadmap scheduled for the next five years in advance. The first 'go-live' planned for the fall of this year, and then, iteratively, the bank will be replenished with new functions both online and physically. The project is very large-scale in nature, so we are looking for fresh brains, and hands as the project progresses and develops.

Requirements:
- Excellent command of PHP;
- Experience, skills, and understanding of the main modern frameworks from the PHP world (at least one of them): Laravel, Zend, Symfony, etc .;
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred);
- Experience with cloud product rollouts (AWS);
- Experience with CI / CD environments;
- Experience in writing unit tests for your code and understanding why you need it;
- Complete understanding of container and microservice architecture in product construction;
Interest in cryptocurrency, banking, and exchange transactions.
