Our team in Moldova looking for Senior Backend Developer
Join our US-funded company with international ambitions! We are building a few companies over time with a current focus on Giftloop, an Android app that is currently US-focused but will go Global within a year. We are a team that believes in empowerment: we need your input, knowledge, and decisions to make the company truly great.

Developer requirements
- Knowledge and experience with JavaScript, understanding the nature of async programming, the limitations of the platform and how to overcome them.
- Ability to define and build a rest API, (preferably using express).
- Experience in writing unit tests, and understanding how to write testable code, how to write good test cases, where to mock, and where mocking will actually hide bugs instead of helping in finding it.
Knowledge/experience pool:
Stack:
- Git (github), ability to work with branches, understanding of rebasing and squashing.
- MySql,
- DynamoDB
- Redis
- (Bonus: Elastic Search)
Cloud providers:
AWS:
- Beanstalk
- S3
Circle CI: Understanding what is CI/CD, if you have already configured a pipeline that's a big plus.
