Php developer

Our team is seeking a Wordpress PHP Developer (Middle or Senior) for a remote long term position with EST time zone working hours.

Responsibilities

Ability to work well with other Web Developers in a close team in EST (Eastern Standard Time) timezone
Ability to apply your expertise to many technical problems as they arise in coding websites, applications, and the overall code environment
Candidates must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, cross-device compatibility, SEO standards, general web functions and standards
Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
Maintain and update our current WordPress websites
Develop new features and functionality on the current websites and new ones
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to ensure the website is up-to-date and optimized
Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of experience in WordPress development
Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience building WordPress themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks and site-builder
Experience with website optimization, SEO and performance tuning
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
