NOC/ Helpdesk Engineer

Job Description:

Responsible for building and maintaining the satellite communication systems and supporting infrastructure and management interfaces also provide technical support to customers via Call Centre.

Primary responsibilities of NOC personnel:

• Network monitoring
• Incident response
• Communications management
• Reporting problems
• Technical support to customers via Call Centre
• Work in shifts


Required:

• Experience at least 2 years in NOC – an advantage
• Familiar with network systems integration
• Familiar with layer 2- 4 Ethernet networking protocols
• Familiar with Multicast Protocols, Routing protocols, TCP / IP, UDP, ICMP
• Experience on analyzing real time protocols / systems / Access schemes
• Good communication skills and teamwork, flexible, well developed work habits, good verbal and written skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and work well within a team-based environment.
• Fluency in English - Must
