Multimedia communications specialist

Millennium DPI Partners, LLC is an international development firm based in the United States of America, which is implementing a USAID-funded Open Justice Project in Moldova. Open Justice will assist the Government of Moldova to improve the efficiency and transparency of the Moldovan judicial system and improve access to justice for citizens of Moldova.

Millennium DPI Partners, LLC is seeking qualified Moldovan citizens for the full-time position of Multimedia Communications Specialist to serve on the Open Justice Project.

Tasks:

Create, manage and edit video content for the justice sector thematic website and social media platforms pertaining to the achievements of the project;
Use raw video to develop a brief video stories or video summary of project activities;
Manage contractors to develop video spots and written materials on various aspects of judicial reform;
Ensure support in fine-tuning video scripts and video storytelling;
Provide oversight over contractors selected to implement outreach activities;
Participate actively in program design and monitoring in collaboration with program staff as assigned;
Assist project staff with outreach event planning and arrangements;
Assist all project counterparts in external/internal communications and outreach;
Advise counterparts on publications and provide editorial support on reports and training as required.
Qualifications:

A university degree in communications, journalism, television or a closely related field;
At least 3 years of experience in television or video production;
Skilled in using video editing tools to create short informational video materials, including subtitles, audio background and other text inscriptions;
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, where factual accuracy and consistency of information is essential;
Previous experience in managing contractors implementing outreach activities such as informational campaigns, grants or specialized communication trainings.
A native Romanian language speaker, fluent in English and Russian;
Previous experience working for a donor-funded project in Moldova is a strong advantage.
