Job Description

The IT Specialist position installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware, handheld device, and software systems, provides technical advice and support to system users, provides internal network support, and leverages IT resources to continuously improve the business.
Responsible for posters, web design updates, logo development. IT Specialist will work directly with Copywriter and will be in charge of promoting the brands of the Companies.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in IT or similar technical field.
Minimum 2 years experience in related position.
Strong background/comfortability in office application tools.
Ability to install and configure PC and peripherals, according to Corporate standards.
Confident business partner; quick-thinking, responsive, and solution-oriented.
Excellent problem-solving ability.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work successfully in a cross-functional environment.

Job Duties

Manage the U.S.-based IT systems (hardware, operating systems, databases) in line with Corporate IT standards
Assist the local (U.S.) business for specific infrastructure or local software projects and continuous improvement
Resolve local IT issues and if necessary
Provide Help Desk support to U.S.-based employees
Manage day-to-day IT operations and user support
Assist in determining hardware/software needs for the U.S. location(s), in line with Corporate standards
Maintain the internal network accounts, including security, access, rights, licensure, and maintenance of IT-related contracts and 3rd party service providers
Ensure daily backups are performed and maintain procedures and documentation for said backups and restoration of systems
Maintain the IT inventory
Provide updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication
Connect new users and provide initial IT-related applications training
