We're looking for the Android Developer to join our team in Chisinau.

Core objective: Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications. Ensure the applications provide an excellent user experience, are performant, and follow best coding practices. Collaborate closely with other teams, including product management, UX/UI design, and back-end development, to create seamless, scalable, and innovative mobile solutions that drive customer engagement and business growth.

Responsibilities:

Write efficient, maintainable code in Kotlin/Java and follow Android development best practices.
Ensure the Android app integrates seamlessly with back-end services and APIs.
Work closely with product managers to understand business goals and translate them into technical solutions.
Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure a high-quality user interface and experience.
Coordinate with back-end developers to ensure consistent and smooth data flow between front-end and server-side.
Continuously optimize application performance for speed and responsiveness.
Implement unit tests and ensure the application passes automated testing.
Work with QA to develop comprehensive test plans and ensure high-quality software releases.
Keep up to date with the latest trends and updates in the Android ecosystem, and incorporate new technologies and methodologies where appropriate.


Requirements:

Strong command of Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
Deep understanding of Android architecture components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, etc.).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating back-end services.
Understanding of Material Design guidelines and ability to translate wireframes into highly functional interfaces.
Knowledge of responsive design principles for mobile apps across different screen sizes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and debugging.
Ability to work in an agile development environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
Expertise in optimizing mobile applications for speed, memory, and battery efficiency.
