Truck Dispatcher(s) needed Flat Conestoga

American Company (MW Express) is looking for responsible and ambitious people to join our dispatch team.

Position Requires:

• experience (preferred)
• Oral and written communications skills
• Rate negotiation and closing skills
• Basic computer proficiency ie. excel, load boards, email
• Ability to work full time
• Being on time, prompt and prepared on a daily basis

General Duties:

• Booking freight and developing relationships with brokers and customers
• Staying up to date on freight trends
• Knowing backhaul/ head-haul markets and the relevant pricing
• Soliciting new shippers to gain direct freight
• Checking broker creditworthiness to ensure a prompt payment history
• Completing new customer set up packets
• Pre-planning your assigned drivers and tacking their daily moves
• Inputting rate confirmations into dispatch software
