Must have:

- Solid grounding base in Computer Science fundamentals, object-oriented programming and software design
.
- Fluency in C++, Java or equivalent, with exposure to user interface tools and frameworks
.
- Open minded, outspoken and not afraid to explore and work at any layer of the software stack.
- Comfortable working under Linux with C/C++, Python, Databases technologies.
- Good logical thinking, good grasp on algorithms. 

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Team player, collaborative attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Nice to have:

- Broad understanding of graphical user interfaces.
- Skills on interconnecting UI apps with backend systems.
- Experience developing on, or deploying to Linux platforms.
- Projects experience with increasing responsibilities and areas of expertise. 


A plus:

- General knowledge on: television systems, audio/video processing, data streaming.
- Experience designing UI and manipulating UI resources.
- Experience setting up build and automation tools, scripting.
- Embedded architectures knowledge, experience designing software for embedded systems.
