Php/wordpress developer

UPQODE Moldova is looking for a PHP/WordPress Developer to join our team on a full-time basis.



The ideal candidate has at least 1.5 years' experience in a similar role, have a strong understanding of PHP back-end development, good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, MySQL. And are proficient in using code versioning tools such as GitHub.

Necessary Skills:

Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Software engineer/Web Developer
Solid understanding of WordPress standards, database structure, themes, widgets and responsive mobile development
HTML5 / CSS3
Can write modern, standards-compliant CSS
Has experience writing code that meets the WordPress coding standards
Understands the difference between a plugin and a theme and what goes into each
Has experience with MySQL and Git
Has understanding & experience of WP action and filter hooks
Has familiarity with task runners and contribute to Front End workflows (Gulp/Grunt, Sass compilers, etc.)
