READ THIS – IT’S IMPORTANT!

We’re looking for experts in mobile development—whether your strength is Android, iOS, or cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter. This is a fully remote opportunity, so you can work from wherever suits you best (home office, café, or somewhere exotic). If needed, we’ll even fly you to the client site in Europe once a month (all on us) to meet the team and collaborate on the project. Most of our projects are fully remote, but some clients prefer monthly team sessions.

REQUIREMENTS

- Communication Skills: Excellent English skills for writing, reading, and speaking, with a quick response time for interviews (usually within 1-2 days). German language skills are a very strong advantage.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in mobile development – we’re after depth, not just dabbling.
- Location Flexibility: Work from anywhere in the world (as long as it has decent Wi-Fi).
- Travel Readiness: Willing to travel to the client site in Europe if needed (travel’s fully covered by us).
- Schedule Flexibility: Available for both part-time and full-time work, depending on client needs.
- Availability: Able to start within 15 days, with a maximum notice period of 2 weeks.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in mobile development or specific platforms (e.g., Android, iOS) are a plus but not required. Think of them as extra brownie points!

PREFERRED SKILLS

We’re looking for a range of skills, but you don’t need to know it all. Instead, we’re seeking mobile development experts with deep knowledge in their chosen area. Here are a few examples of what could make you a great fit:
- Platforms: Android (Java, Kotlin), iOS (Swift, Objective-C), Cross-Platform (React Native, Flutter).
- Frameworks and Libraries: Retrofit, RxJava, Hilt/Dagger, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Firebase.
- App Testing: Experience with tools like Espresso, XCTest, Appium, and automated testing for mobile.
- UI/UX Design Collaboration: Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe XD, with a focus on building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.
- Performance Optimisation: Skills in analysing and improving app performance, memory management, and network efficiency.
