ETL SPECIALIST
Business & Infrastructure Solutions / Financial Sector

Job Description:

Our Innovation & Customer Engagement Function is growing and we have an immediate need for an ETL Specialist who will develop and maintain automated ETL and ELT processing routines to facilitate the sharing of data to and from EIS Platform, its clients and its subcontractors. There will also be the need to provide reports for internal and external financial sector clients on this data. ETL processes will be developed in proprietary Eagle Investment Systems tools which leverage proprietary EIS Engines. (IWS, MC, EJM, etc ) The individual will work within a dynamic and fast paced environment, and be able to apply critical thinking skills to implement these solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop IWS projects to implement ETL including but not limited to: transmission, transformation, encryption, and archiving of data.
• Unit test to ensure the ETL code delivered is running and conforms to specifications and design guidelines
• Document deployment procedures
• Provide support to Business Analyst(s) in gathering and/or clarifying data and requirements from subject matter experts
• Develop SQL queries and support ad hoc requests for data
• Support developed library in client Prod regions

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA in a technical field: Computer Science, Engineering or IT related discipline
• Experience developing database ETL environments with business intelligence applications
• Experience writing stored T-SQL, procedures, functions, and SQL queries

Additional Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience working with XML technologies (XSD, WSDL, XSLT etc)
• Experience working with JSON technologies
• Experience with shell scripting and linux cmd knowledge
• Experience implementing data warehouses (SQL or NoSQL)
• Experience work with different delivery methods: SFTP/FTP, Messaging, WS or Rest API etc
• Securities Market general knowledge.
