Electrical Engineer

(a) Job description:
The Electrical Engineer shall:
(i) co-ordinate the supporting staff engaged for electrical and control systems in order to ensure that all related procedures are implemented by the Consultant’s staff;
(ii) prepare a data base of procedures regarding the implementation of electrical and control systems;
(iii) check that procedures are implemented;
(iv) elaborate a procedure to be applied for the delivery, checking and approval of materials to be incorporated in the permanent Works;
(v) inspect the quality of the Works;
(vi) discuss any remedy with the Contractors;
(vii) report to the Project Manager/Resident Engineer as necessary.

(b) Qualification requirements:
The Electrical Engineer shall meet the following requirements:
1. A degree in electrical and control engineering;
2. 3 years experience or more in the management of electrical and control works;
3. Experience of dealing with electrical and control systems of pumping stations, pipe networks and basin rehabilitation contracts is essential, including exterior electrical supply of pumping stations from the leading international producers;
4. Experience in similar position on at least one (1) successful projects of similar size and complexity shall be demonstrated;
5. A good working knowledge of the English language is required, the knowledge of Romanian/Russian languages would be an advantage.
