Engineering Office Fortan B.V. is a Dutch design and consultancy firm and is specialized in technical services at the highest level.

The activities of Fortan are designing complex steel constructions and machines for the dredging and offshore industry. Think of installations like trailing suction hopper dredgers, fall pipe vessels, offshore heavy lifting cranes, cable lay vessels etc.

Innovative and unique solutions for complex constructions are our specialty. With Fortan a small but dedicated team is working on the complete design and the detailing that goes with it. Our clients are often well-known players that are active on an international level.

Because of long term contracts with Dutch significant companies Fortan B.V. decided to expand engineering office in Chisinau, and for this we want to come in contact with a young, ambitious and enthusiastic :

Draughtsman / designer


Function description of draughtsman / designer:


• mechanical designing of industrial installations such as steel construction and piping
• in Inventor and/or AutoCAD modeling of the installations and generating General Arrangements and workshop drawings



Profile of the candidate:

• university degree - Mechanical Engineering
• knowledge of Inventor and AutoCAD
• being fluent in writing and speaking English
• consistent and accurate in working and thinking methods
• capability to set goals and respect tight deadlines
