Role
We are looking for a Cloud System Engineer to join our Integration & Services division, dedicated to the management of on edge, on prem, on cloud and hybrid solutions. Specifically: IT Managed Services, VDI, Cybersecurity and SOC, AI and HPC Infrastructure, Data Centre and Cloud Transformation.

The resource, with a professional background of at least 3 years in similar roles, will be involved in Cloud Transformation and Cloud Migration projects, having the opportunity to apply best practices and strategies in the transition from on-premises to Cloud, without neglecting the aspects of security and cost optimization.

Requirements
Must have
- Knowledge of the administration of infrastructures and services based on SaaS, PaaS and IaaS in the Microsoft Azure world
- In-depth system knowledge in the administration of Linux Operating Systems
- In-depth knowledge of Networking (routing, switching and firewall)
- Knowledge and familiarity in the use of Containers and their orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the deployment of resources in declarative mode via IaC (Bicep or Terraform)
- Knowledge of CI/CD philosophy and procedures (preferably Azure DevOps)
- Experience in the application of Version Control via GIT and its use in a team environment
- Solid scripting basis (Bash or Python)

Nice to have
- Knowledge of AWS
- Experience in the use of Configuration Management Software (Ansible or Saltstack)
- Experience in using the VMware vSphere suite and virtualisation concepts in general
- Knowledge of Windows Server and the Microsoft Active Directory world
- Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken

Certifications inherent to, but not necessary, are appreciated:
- Microsoft Azure (e.g. AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700, AZ-305, AZ-400)
- Kubernetes (e.g. CKA, CKAD, CKS)

Soft skills
- Critical analysis of identified solutions, analytical reasoning and problem solving skills
- Orientation towards team-working and good predisposition for working towards objectives
- Willingness and aptitude for mutual training with other team members
